Trafford MV welcome Oldham RFC and Orrell RFC to MacPherson Park for 1st and 2nd XV fixtures. Kick off 2.15pm

Conditions look to be excellent for good rugby at M33 6LR today as fair weather and a drying pitch should be conducive to running, entertaining rugby. Admission is Free, Bar is open before, during and after the game and non-members are very welcome to join us. Sport is shown on big screen TV's in the Clubhouse too.

Trafford MV 1st XV wring the changes again in their desperate search for a good League result to add to the recent Trophy win over Tyldesley. Coach Ricky Phillips is juggling to match injuries and non-availabilities to positional requirements. Big game wingers Jamie Kingdon and James Matthie are both missing but back into the fray come influential Danny Burke, solid front row Jack Gobbett and the enigmatic Lewis Kingdon at full back. changes are made in the back row, half backs and centres as valuable league points are chased.
MV came a convincing second at Manor Park earlier in the season 41-0. A huge improvement on the performance that day will be required to stop Gaz Barbers men.

The 2nd XV host the once might Orrell rugby club and captain Phill Simms will be looking for a cohesive second team performance to grind out a home win to improve on their seasons results to date.

Our 3rd XV travel not too far to North Manchester and face a tough, but very winnable game. Captain Jason Alexander is putting a big call out for former and local players to bring their boots down to MV and play rugby at 3rd XV level before climbing up the teams - if that is your desire. Otherwise play good social rugby for TMV 3rd XV.

Busy day at the Club tomorrow as our Sunday Lunch attracts over 100 people catered for by Thyme and Season Catering
