Trafford MV are set to blood new young talent as they continue the battle to lead the ADM Championship at Littleborough

Trafford MV travel to Littleborough in round 12 of the ADM Championship and go into the game defending their pole position in the league.
MV make a number of changes to the team that beat Garstang 18-15 in a muddy arm wrestle last weekend.
In the front row Connor Monaghan keeps his place with Jack Gobbett returning to the fray after a short absence. Jamie Butler comes into the side in the hooker position. Andy Clegg and Joe Cooper combine in a regular second row pairing. Captain Chris Ward leads the side from open side flanker with Paul Davenport at No 8, they are joined in the back row on the blind side flank by 2nd XV skipper Jack Linnie.
There is a welcome return to the side of former captain Pat Eccles who returns after a long lay off due to injury and fatherhood. Aaron Booth takes his place at stand off following a good game last week. Jamie Kingdon and Nathan Hamilton partner up in the centres and will be looking to set the tone of MV's attack. On the wings we have Leon Passley and Jose Rivas with Andrew Dobbinson filling the full back berth.
On the bench MV have opted to bring some of their young fringe players to build their squad strength and give the young players some 1st XV experience. Joe Alexander, Oscar Livings , Joe Hynes get their break at senior level with Jon Lord.
MV need to start the game with a determination and set the tone early on - conceding early and having to come from behind is a habit MV need to break.
Having contested the lead position all season MV should be playing the game with much more composure and confidence.
A good win on the road would certainly boost confidence in the side and would give the young players coming into the team a platform to learn off and a standard to aspire to.

Support at the game would be welcomed by all players, coaches and Club officials.

GOOD LUCK LADS
